Getaway Success Story

Kathleen Graber really did change her life
Kathy, now on our faculty, wrote her first poem in our "Poetry Writing" workshop in 1997. She talks about how attending the Getaway helped her change her life. Read Kathy's story.

Our participants say it best:
"This conference is a gift. It permits a writer to take risks without concern for impressing or competing. It gave me the space to imagine and experiment. This is a community that is generous and encouraging while also being honest. A great relief."
