During the fall and winter season, this website is promoted to our mailing list of 4,400+ writers from the tri-state area and beyond multiple times per week. This website averages 12,000+ visits per year.
The Winter Getaway will have a captive audience of approximately 200 individuals, including novice, published and prize-winning writers from around the globe; Stockton University executives; Seaview Hotel staff and executives; and active members of the local community who are eager to get involved.
The Winter Getaway’s information table will be positioned in a high-traffic area that every participant will encounter at least 14 times over the duration of the Winter Getaway.
Why is the Winter Getaway seeking partners?
Participant registration fees are the only funds Murphy Writing of Stockton University receives to pay for all expenses. Your generosity will allow us to continue offering life-changing workshops, conferences and retreats for a thriving, inclusive literary community.
We welcome support from individuals and organizations alike. You can underwrite a tuition scholarship for writers in need; pay for a talented teacher to lead a workshop and stay at Seaview; or sponsor our event space, A/V, the Getaway Bookstore, yoga, mealtimes, the Disco or any other scheduled events, like our MLK program or “Meet, Greet & Ask.” You could even supply the stash for our highly-coveted bags of chocolate.
