2011 Tutorials

These twenty minute feedback sessions will provide a one-on-one constructive critique on a work in progress. Participants may add-on up to two tutorials.
     Tutorial in Prose  —  $100
     Tutorial in Poetry  —  $75*

*Participants in Poetry Writing for Beginners and Advanced Poetry Writing get a free tutorial as part of their tuition, but many still like to schedule a second one.

2011 Room Packages

Include 3 nights accommodation, most with ocean view; 3 breakfasts; 3 lunches; use of fitness center, indoor pool & hot tub; most gratuities; state sales & hotel taxes.
Dinners are not included.

The Fine Print

● Early Bard Discount ($25) if paid in full on or before Nov. 15
● Tardy Bard Penalty ($25) if registering after Dec. 15
● Change Fee ($25) will be charged to switch your workshop, room package, tutorial(s) and/or add-ons after Dec. 15
● Cancellation policy:
         ● On or before Dec. 15 — 100% refund minus a $50
               processing fee
         ● Dec. 16-31 — 50% of total refunded
         ● Jan. 1-10 — 50% credit for future Getaway
         ● Jan. 11 or after — Sorry, no refund will be issued

Wait List Information

To be added to the wait list for a workshop you must:
    1) Register for a different workshop with the understanding that this is probably the one you will remain in.
    2) If you register online, note in the comments box which wait list you would like to be added to, or if you register by mail, write a note on the registration form letting us know which wait list you would like to be placed on.
    3) In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we will notify the person on the top of the list.

    Note: The same Fine Print and Cancellation policy applies to all registrants whether they are on the wait list or not.

Special Opportunities at the Getaway

• Earn Professional Development Credit
  Many educators are sponsored or reimbursed by their school districts and colleges for this multicultural, professional development activity. Teachers will earn 18 hours of professional development credit. Purchase orders are welcome.
