Safety

We are excited to welcome you back in person for the 2025 Winter Poetry & Prose Getaway, which will take place at Seaview Hotel near Atlantic City, NJ.

Building on the success of the past two in-person Winter Getaways, we will continue to prioritize safety by following guidelines set in place by the CDC, Stockton University and local authorities. If these guidelines change prior to the event, we will inform you in advance. You will be able to see any updates we make below by refreshing your page (Ctrl + R).

Please read our Health and Safety Acknowledgement, which you will be expected to uphold.

We strongly encourage everyone to take a COVID test so you can make sure you are negative before you arrive on January 17th.

 

Masks

Faculty may require participants to wear masks in instructional workshop spaces. For all other Winter Getaway activities, masks are optional.

We cannot require roommates to wear masks in guest rooms, regardless of vaccination status. If you would like to exercise increased caution, please consider a Single Room Package.

 

Venue Protocols

Seaview has provided the following information:

• Hand sanitizer will be available in high-touch areas, including our mealtime spaces and workshop spaces.
• Guests will be able to opt in or out of housekeeping services.
