New for the 2021 Winter Getaway

October 1, 2020 BY Taylor Coyle

Registration for the 27th Annual Winter Poetry & Prose Getaway is now open!

This supportive, participant-focused writers’ conference will take place January 14-18, 2021. Here are some of the things we’re most excited about this year.

Featured Reader

We’re thrilled that award-winning poet Ross Gay will join us as a Featured Reader. We look forward to welcoming him on Sunday, January 17 for an intimate reading and Q&A session exclusively for Winter Getaway participants. A note for re-PETERs: Ross will not be leading workshops, just visiting for a fun night.

"I cannot express it enough: the writing opportunities that you provide are a GODSEND. We are all so busy in our daily lives–working, caregiving for young and old, surviving our daily challenges–that to have an uninterrupted respite to write and speak only of the craft of writing for a whole weekend is bliss. I truly enjoyed the Winter Getaway and its supportive community." – Karen, Highland Park, NJ
